An accomplished administrator with experience in consulting, corporate leadership and public policy, Kevin Moran has served as associate vice president of regional affairs of the Environmental Defense Fund, EDF, since 2021. At EDF, Kevin Moran spearheads public policy and political strategies for a region that includes Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Working closely with regional policymakers and civic leaders, Mr. Moran concentrates on furthering clean energy, resilient water supplies for people and nature, and general climate improvement efforts in the region. In particular, Kevin Moran has an established track record as an expert in matters related to the Colorado River and water-related resilience investments in the region.

When he isn’t working, Mr. Moran enjoys reading and attending theatrical productions. In addition to hiking and bicycling, Kevin Moran stays physically active by jogging and practicing yoga and Pilates. He also has a history of charitable involvement and community outreach, including board memberships with the Valley of the Sun United Way and the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation.
